I am learning to revere the mind for what it is. 

There is a time to be at the surface, riding the waves and enjoying the churn. There is also a time to go deeper. 

We are called to go deeper.

I continue to learn what this means. And I want to share my learning journey with the world. That's why I founded The Deep Call. So we can learn together. Renew our minds together. Create a better world together.

I earned a bachelor’s degree at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and a master’s degree from Georgetown University where I studied management and human capital, respectively. For two decades, I have served with some of the world's finest mindset experts. I continue to work with them.

As a speaker, trainer, and coach, I am grateful for the opportunity to go deeper, together.

I am a public affairs professional with more than a decade of experience in government, political, and association communications. I have developed and managed strategic communications initiatives on issues of national, and regional importance as part of numerous high profile public relations campaigns across the country. I have a master’s degree in American Studies from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of San Diego.

I have worked as a key staffer in Congress for both the House of Representatives and the United States Senate. In these roles, I provided strategic communications counsel to multiple members of Congress and developed proactive media engagement plans in support of specific legislative and communications goals and initiatives.  

I believe a well-defined media relations strategy guides organizations in navigating the complexities of media interactions, helping them to effectively manage their reputation and influence public perception. My communications philosophy is centered on transparency and authenticity. When interacting with the media, honesty and openness in all communications helps build trust and credibility, and when combined with clear, consistent messages, organizations are well placed to share their news and accomplishments.
